My blog doesn’t generate enough money
Wed, Sep 30, 2009

Why does it happen that you start a ‘blogging business’ but you do not generate enough money? Inspired by blogs of a dot com mogul, a friend of mine decided to start a blog and become a millionaire. Apparently, it has been two years now, but his blog does not generate the level of earnings he expected. I met this friend last night and I was overwhelmed after hearing his story.
So, I decided to make people aware of some problems due to which people are unable to earn enough money. Below is a list of tips to follow when you initiate a blog
Understanding Search
Keyword Analysis
Selecting Your Domain
Selecting Your Platform
Designing Your Blog
Extending Your Blog
Selecting Your Categories
Registering with Search
Getting on the Map
Robots and Sitemap
Communicating with Search Engines
Writing Post Titles
Writing for Blogs
User Generated Content
Guest Blogging
Promoting Your Blog
Generating Backlinks
Social Media Integration
Monitoring Search
If you manage to get to grips with all of these things then, congratulations! You will be prepaired to create an excellent blog. You will have everything a newbie needs to do upon launching a blog. After a year you realize that you may have just earned less than half of what you expected.

Remember that you marketing your blog is just one step don’t forget to review your posts. People visit your blog everyday. Everyone comments and appreciates your postings and might also ask questions if a post is not up to scratch! If you fail to answer their queries or appreciate visitors for the time they take to visit your blog, you will notice that your page views will gradually decrease. You need to build relationships with people visiting your blog. Spend a lot of time in personalizing your blog but if you don’t respond to people, your earnings are going to fall.
